Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) Highlights: Four Provinces Issue Nominations for Immigration

Exciting news for immigration candidates! Four provinces in Canada have issued nominations through their respective Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs). These draws focused on economic streams, selecting candidates based on education, employment, professional skills, and more.

Ontario

Ontario held four different draws under its economic immigration streams.

1. Employer Job Offer: In-Demand Skills Stream:
   • ITAs Issued: 265
   • Minimum Score: 35
2. Employer Job Offer: International Student Stream:
   • Healthcare Occupations:
     • ITAs Issued: 424
     • Minimum Score: 81
   • Other Priority Occupations:
     • ITAs Issued: 839
     • Minimum Score: 77
3. Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker Stream:
   • ITAs Issued: 5
   • Special Program: Federal Economic Mobility Pathways
4. Express Entry Aligned Targeted Draw:
   • Stream: Human Capital Priorities
   • ITAs Issued: 1,240
   • Targeted Occupation: Healthcare
   • Score Range: 425-444

British Columbia

On July 16th, British Columbia conducted five targeted draws under the Skilled Worker, International Graduate (including EEBC option) stream.

1. Childcare Workers:
   • Minimum Score: 94
2. Construction Workers:
   • Minimum Score: 95
3. Healthcare Workers:
   • Minimum Score: 104
4. Tech Workers:
   • Minimum Score: 122
5. Veterinary Care Workers:
   • Minimum Score: 80

A total of at least 68 invitations were issued across these categories.

Manitoba

Manitoba’s PNP held two draws this week.

1. International Education Stream:
   • ITAs Issued: 109
2. Skilled Worker Overseas Stream:
   • ITAs Issued: 52
   • Minimum Score: 645
   • Special Mention: 16 candidates with valid Express Entry profiles and job seeker validation codes were included.

Prince Edward Island

On July 19th, Prince Edward Island issued invitations under two streams.

1. Labour and Express Entry Streams:
   • ITAs Issued: 84
   • Targeted Sectors: Healthcare, construction, manufacturing, professional services, and international graduates with expiring work permits.
2. Business Streams:
   • ITAs Issued: 2
