Unlike many Canadian immigration programs, the NBCWP is employer-driven. Six participating employers support candidates throughout their immigration journey, ensuring they have comprehensive settlement plans. Here’s what makes this pilot stand out:

  • Long-term Support: Employers provide housing and transportation plans to facilitate a smooth transition.
  • Skills Development: On-the-job training opportunities for career enhancement.
  • Language Training: Up to 200 hours of language assistance, if required, to improve communication skills.
  • Educational Guidance: Help for candidates looking to obtain their Canadian secondary education equivalency.
