Exciting news from the University of Sussex! They’re offering a fantastic opportunity to all the talented Indian students out there who dream of pursuing a master’s degree in the UK. The University has just announced a brand-new scholarship program called the Sussex India Scholarship, which provides a whopping £4,000 in financial assistance to eligible Indian nationals who want to start their master’s course at Sussex in September 2024. The University is also offering an additional scholarship, the Chancellor’s International Scholarship, valued at £5,000, to outstanding international applicants who are pursuing either a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree at Sussex. Moreover, the John Kinghorn Scholarship in Engineering (2024) has been launched, providing £10,000 to each of four deserving recipients.
To further support Indian students, the University is also introducing £2,000 ‘Tuition Fee Awards’ for those enrolling in eligible master’s programs within the School of Engineering and Informatics or the University of Sussex Business School. This initiative is part of the University’s commitment to promoting diversity and attracting talented individuals from India to facilitate their academic and professional pursuits.
Professor Robin Banerjee, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Global and Civic Engagement) at the University of Sussex, expressed his enthusiasm about the scholarships, stating, “At the University of Sussex, we are delighted to offer these substantial scholarships that will support talented Indian students and promote international collaboration and diversity within our academic community.” He further emphasized the significance of Indian students within the global student community and eagerly anticipates their arrival on campus.
