Positive news for travelers: visa-free access for Indian passport holders has expanded to 62 countries, offering exciting opportunities to explore diverse cultures and landscapes hassle-free. Maintaining a global ranking of 80th on the Henley Passport Index, Indian passport holders can now travel to 62 countries without a visa, marking a significant increase from the previous count of 57. The Henley Passport Index, a prominent online tool, derives it is rankings from IATA data, reflecting global mobility and passport accessibility.

Among the top passport holders, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Singapore, and Spain lead with the privilege of visa-free travel to 194 countries. In contrast, Afghanistan, Syria, Iraq, and the Pakistan passport have more limited visa-free access, with the latter granting entry to just 34 countries this year.
