Breaking: Canada Announces Work Permit Modifications Starting January 2024

The government has introduced the Recognized Employer Pilot (REP), simplifying business processes and protecting temporary foreign workers while improving companies’ ability to respond to labor shortages.

The length of time it takes to process a work permit for Canada may vary based on several variables, including the type of permit, the application’s location, and the season. However, according to the most recent IRCC processing update, 80% of online work permit applications have been processed in an average of 134 days over the past six months.
